Now folks know why it looked so familiar and godly. lol I pretty much ignored it since it wasn't a movie, but if I have time I'll buy it one day.

And here I was praising Pixar for Inside Out. Every time they give us something cool, they give us something bad too.

Well, not that I know this is bad, but it seems like a cash-in.

I wonder if John Lasseter was involved in this decision. He seems to love Japanese animation.

They should of said "From the studio who brought you Kill La Kill" and then have a million kids go online to see what it is.

For Kids i would more say "Little Witch Academia" (i would say PEGI 7 or 12)it was even kickstarter crowdfunded

for more mature "Kids" and Adults, i prefer "Kill la kill" (i would say PEGI 16) an extreme way of Cloth fashion and fights

From the series director of Ninja Slayers? Now I have some interest considering that was perhaps my favorite 2015 anime series so far this year (along with Rakudai no Kishi).

Have we ever seen any evidence that he's into anime beyond Studio Ghibli? Miyazaki's films in particular are a huge source of inspiration to both him and the rest of Pixar, but Ghibli is pretty damn different from the majority of anime.

The person involved at Pixar would be Grant Alexander. He wanted to work with Trigger and Imashi. Pixar was friendly with Gainex when those guys were still there. Grant actually drew a picture of Jessie as Ryuko for one of the Kill la Kill art books released in Japan.http://40.media.tumblr.com/e06b76228554caefd581947e3739bc80/tumblr_ntg85wYAjf1r2hsazo1_1280.jpg

In case anyone's wondering, the short's probably alluding to both Rock Lords and Dino Riders. [The latter of which ironically recently got greenlit for a potential movie.] Cool

Trigger's moving on up in the world. This is going to give Trigger a lot more clout from here on out, because now they'll be known as that little studio that got commissioned by Pixar.
