Awesome news. I'm a huge fan of the original manga.

This is hardly the first spin-off and i will assume that none are surprised by this announcement if we consider that his current series is loosing money and that Gantz had a very open ending.

Edit: He also stated that he was drawing the manga at great cost, and estimates that each volume would have to sell 190,000 copies for him to turn a profit, but that he would continue to draw it.

Gantz returns! All is right in the world. Though, I am sad that Oku won't be doing the artwork.

I didn't realise that Inuyashiki is by the creator of Gantz. It's a shame it isn't doing too well as it looks like the sort of manga i would like. Was thinking of picking up the first part.

This is such great news! I LOVE Gantz, and I can't wait to see what they do with the new series.

It would be really cool if they explored the origins of the vampires a little more.

This is exciting.
Gantz ended on such a poor note, with tons of loose story threads.
If this new Gantz manga returns to those other story threads, then the series has a chance at redeeming itself.
In any case, even if it doesn't redeem itself, more Gantz is always a good thing if you ask me. I'd be happy if it just continued forever, it's kind of become a staple at this point.
