Those of us that could not get enough of Akane's (from Castle Town Dandelion) flustered/embarrassed faces. Haven't heard of this manga but I suppose Miton is a troll like Ruby (from Prisma Illya) "with great power comes great embarrassment" |

I won't be surprised if it will be a web anime, like Anime de Wakaru Shinryōnaika.

I would think that it is for everyone. It apparently is a comedy.

Well, it'll depend on what kind of comedy it is. I'm sure there'll be a good number of people who don't find it funny if it's simply about a girl who suddenly finds her clothes changed for bathing suits and becomes embarrassed over it and we're expected to laugh at that (and I guess some people will find other kinds of pleasure too). It could very well be social commentary on the level of Pleasantville or South Park though. |

Yep, gotta find out what it's really all about. To me, just from what is in this article, I wouldn't say it is a comedy for everyone. Purely from the image and synopsis alone, all I'm getting is a loli in bathers. And, that's not to everyone's tastes.

Story sounds interesting, so I'll check this out. Plus, magical girls in swimsuits!

Huh. The art kinda reminds me of Nichijou. I like that. I'll have to look into this further.

LN-length anime of a magical girl in a swimsuit that is likely to have lots of fan service? Deal.

Cue my whining about magical girl shows not being aimed at actual (little) girls anymore, and how no one ever wants to do anything interesting with the genre like they used to.
I will say, aside from whining, it's just intriguing to note that studios do want to do mahou shoujo, but only dark stuff, satire, or parody. I wonder when this kick will also end, and if it will be followed up by another boom in innovative shows (aimed at the actual target audience of the genre). |

Well, when Shrek and Enchanted came about, no one wanted to do straight-up fairy tale stories anymore, at least for the decade or so until Tangled.
That, and Pretty Cure is more or less monopolizing magical girls aimed at little girls. There've been a few attempts to snatch some of that market away, but they've all failed--these girls just stick to their Pretty Cure. |
