I honestly hope not. I've been playing Pokémon since '98 to now and thems were some good years.
Sure, it's exciting seeing new Pokémon, but if they creators keep producing new ones, it'll get harder for those others to caught all them little bastards. Us, too.

I wonder if that mysterious small green Pokémon is a Psychic-type that has an Ability that's unique to itself?

Title of the article is highly misleading.
For a start, the screenshot on the left and the poster bottom left are from Mega Evolution Act IV. The top left screenshots is the only one from the next movie.
As for the "New" Pokemon, both the small green Pokemon and the large Pokemon in the silhouette are both Zygarde in some manner.
Dataminers looked into the code for Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS and discovered that there was a placeholder for another 6th gen game. With the remake already out of the way, it's a strong hint for an X/Y sequel.

Arceus wasn't officially revealed until 2009, 3 years after Diamond/Pearl originally released in Japan.

The article actually goes out of its way to never outright refer to this as a Pokemon, instead calling it "the green little guy" and ASKING if it's a new Pokemon. While you couldn't know that at the time, the article about the Mega Evolution special posted on the official site earlier today also refers to it as a "green, Pokémon-like thing".
Calling it a new Pokemon in the article is highly misleading, since it's practically guaranteed from official wording this is in fact NOT a Pokemon.
Also, the line "The new Pokémon will appear in the Pokémon TV anime next year." is just plain mistranslated, as I'm sure everyone realized after today's news. It says it will appear in "the TV anime shown below", ie the Mega Evolution special.

Huh...Not only does your name seem oddly familiar, but so does this entire post.
You aren't Adamant from the /padt/ on /vp/ are you? Or perhaps you're just someone copypasta-ing what he said?.
