Good job for having it last that long.

Yeah, definitely and it is a good series I just stopped reading a couple years back and need to get back to it.

Nice round number to end on! Will look forward to reading the final 3 volumes when Viz releases them. Hopefully the series will have a satisfying conclusion.

Ooh, I think I'll finally get into this series now. I bought one or two volumes randomly because there was a sale (and because of his art) and his artbook because I think his style is great. I'm interested in seeing how this series ends!

I bought the first 3 volumes of this for £2 each in a second hand bookstore, and it got me hooked straight away. It's since become one of my favourite shonen series, and also one of Viz's most overlooked series IMO. The art is beautiful, if nothing else. I've been reading the new volumes as they've been released, and the most recent 2 or 3 have definitely felt like it's building up to an ending so I'm glad it's not going to be dragged out like so many other series are. I look forward to reading them.

saw both anime series and read through the manga series
volume 20th? so just 1 more volume? The world of the series is interesting, but i guess they ran out of ideas ? The anime is kind of slow -- story wise-- but a good series If it's about delivering letters. Shigofumi is also a good one. It's a psychological series. anime#8760 |

A heart worming series with some lovely art. I have the first 4 volumes and will probably buy the rest.

I got into this series back when SJ serialized it (good old physical Jump days). I own the first 7 volumes and can't wait to own them all. Glad it's ending on a nice round 20 and can't wait to read it all in one weekend once it's finished and released.

Why is it called "Letter Bee"?

Japanese title is tegami bachi. The main character is a mailman and their logo is a bee. Deeper meaning is because these mailmen work really hard to deliver letters in the harsh fictional world the story takes place in (just like a bee is a very hard working insect). |

Thefirst issue of the US Shonen Jump magazine I bought had the first chapte of Tegami Bachi in it and I adored it, I never bought the manga out of the fact that it's about twice as much now in the UK shops. Sad it's ending, but glad it went on so long. :)

Tegami Bachi has been on my list to buy for years as I liked the premise and artwork but never got around to it; now that there is an end I make sure to pick up the series in the near future.

Hopefully, maybe, that means they might finish the anime up to a proper conclusion.

I remember this series having a really distinctive mood. To be hones,t I kind of forgot about it as I didn't really see mention of it anywhere for a long while.
Were there long breaks for this series? The likes of One Piece and Bleach reached their 20th volume within a few years, but I remember Letter Bee being in the print version of Viz's Shonen Jump for a long time. |

It is a monthly series so only has about two volumes a year whereas weekly series like Bleach & One Piece tend to have around 5 volumes a year. So Tegami Bachi taking around 10 years to reach volume 20 is about right. |
