This reminds me of Edward MacLeod. I wonder whatever became of him? My goddess, I could listen to his voice all day long.....

It's already being continued (in Japan; Viz has not picked up the newer segment of its run) in the quarterly The Hana to Yume magazine. Although I can't see any evidence of it having any newer tankoubon releases so maybe this'll be a catch-up or something. (according to this site (which sadly stopped updating a couple years ago; it was my go-to source for HanaYume serialization info until then) there's quite a bit of material that was never collected.) |

From everything I've read, while it is being serialized, it's not new chapters. It's just re-releases of the chapters past volume 12, with the new art.

Hopefully it's a continuation of the manga, since it stopped at such a bad spot in the story, but if it's more anime, that's fine too. More Yami no Matsuei is always a good thing.

It wasn't really that abrupt. It was the end of the Kyoto arc, which is the last finished story arc of the manga (there's a minor short arc in volume 9, and then the rest goes into the Gensokai and Kamakura arcs, which run concurrently). |

More importantly, when is Viz going to publish volume 12, already?

They pretty much said it's not going to happen. I asked last year at Sakura-Con (pre-panel, while we were waiting for people to come in). Basically, since they've completely changed the way their Shojo Beat titles look, volume 12 wouldn't look anything like the first 11. So they'd have to re-release 1-11 before they could release 12. And there's no demand for them to do so at this time. Also, they'd have to renegotiate their contract, since it was only for the 11 published volumes at the time. |

It's sound more like a new anime adaptation to me....Anyway the art and characters' "characterization" undergone a drastic change since the begin of the 12th volume. Too drastic IMHO... But anyways any news about this serie is really welcomed

Dessa: Who cares how it looks? People just want to own it. And how they do know there's no demand, if they don't at least put it on Kindle?
