I wasn't too sure on this show at first but after checking out the PVs and watching the first two episodes, it became one of my favorites this season. The energy level is just so high and every main character so far makes their presence well known.

One of the most fun shows I've seen in awhile. Reminded me a bit of KLK as well. I hope Wit Studio can capitalize on this momentum because so far, it's pretty damn impressive.

I'm having a blast watching this show, with its colorful quirkiness and great movement of the characters. It's a pleasant surprise.

Did she just barf a rainbow? Lmao I'm done... this over the top nonsense is right up my alley.

I guess if you want to separate yourself from the "Rest" you gotta be one of the "Best."

Next episode will probably start the main story.

The true test will be how entertaining the girls' road trip will be next episode and hopefully capture more of the audience's attention.

And to think it's actually in consequence from that eating contest she had before. I didn't expect that humorous continuity.

Loving this show so far, I hope it can keep it up. As has already been said, the energy level is great and I'm enjoying how much "character" is in the movement of the characters thanks to the great animation and how colorful it is.

As also mentioned in the review, I also love the music and the rock tracks and instrument choices, very wonderfully FLCL-like.

Wit keeps kicking ass.

BTW, LOL, it seems they even had fun with the notice at the end: "You've probably already realized, but this show is a work of fiction." instead of the usual straightforward "This is a work of fiction." Very Happy

Very Happy Laughing

It's a really great show to take your mind off the daily grind and it's animation is a true treat for the eyes. I've enjoyed the first two episodes and hope they can keep the quality consistent throughout the season.

going back to around 2 years ago, this is teh exact type of show I expected kill la kill to be, glad this show got finally made.
going by the 3 episodes rule, we arleady got introducted to the world, to the charactres, so now I guess in the next episode we will get introduced to the actual plot.

This show does evokes with me a strong FLCL or Kill la Kill feel, and that somewhat of a shame, since then I start comparing between them.
I do believe that, even with the likeness of KlK, this show has potential to take the "over-the-top" art style and story-telling to different route, and I kinda feel it does that by how the latter half of Episode 2 was handled.

Additionally, I think that this show is a good thing for Wit Studio on the technical art side, since it allows them to show off their art mastery - from the almost oil-painting-like Shingeki no Kyojin to the ultra-sparkly Rolling Girls (although Wit is a subsidiary of Production I.G., who co-produced FLCL along with Gainax, so them getting assistance from I.G. would not surprise me)

Only thing left is to condition myself to keep remembering that this isn't Trigger's work, bit Wit's.

In addition to FLCL and Kill la Kill, this show reminds me most of Kyousogiga.

I wonder if the Tokorozawa district is known for its tea production (Wikipedia says: yes! The district even has tea-leaves on its flag).

I found this show a LOT to take in, I'm not sure if I liked it or not. I'll stick with it and hope it slows down a bit at some point.

I'll admit, I burst out laughing.

Another one where the review convinced me to check it out. Funimation seems to have gotten some good series this time...

I don't like the sound of this show, but I really like The Blue Hearts so I'm kind of conflicted...I kind of hope this show doesn't suddenly get popular, just because I don't want people thinking I only know them from this show.

And again, I immediately thought The Blue Hearts from the title. The Rolling Man better be in there somewhere.

Yeah, definitely a cost-saving episode for ep. 3, but at least we got some semblance of an overall plot; cute girls on a road trip to crazy prefecture lands! Cool

Though I thought there's going to be an insert song in this like what happened in the first 2 eps.

Yukina has so far mainly defined herself as “clumsy and prone to getting lost...”

I had the impression there was more to it than that. Not so much that she gets lost as that she finds herself in places not knowing how she got there. Like she's suffering from some weird sleep-walking narcolepsy or something. We'll see.

I wasn't too taken with the first two episodes, but this was enough development to keep me rolling with it, for awhile longer anyway. Smile
