Ooh, some fresh choices for the voice actresses. And the characters has a diverse range of personalities. Looking forward to this.

It seems to me that KyoAni often chose relatively new talents or unfamiliar names (yet) for their main/regular roles.
Not sure what's the reason behind this, but they often worked out, and some of them that I know seem to become better known if not becoming quite popular and have some more major roles. Above all else, though, I'm just happy that the new comers got their chance (especially after watching Shirobako's VA discussion). |

Nice, some fresh voices (and they have a few roles before, so they have some experience as well). I think Chika Anzai is the most famous here, because of her role as Chaika.

With repertoire such as Amagi Brilliant Park, Shinmai Maō no Testament, Black Bullet, Hunter x Hunter and more, both as main and as support cast, the new seiyūs have just enough experience under their belt of offer good acting (at least in theory, let's hear how it'll turn out in practice), but "green" enough to fit KyoAni's desire for "no-names" as leads.
That 70's cop-show style video cracks me up every time I see it. |

Oh yeah, definitely a foursome of voice actresses unfamiliar to me (yet). One of the voice actresses' names is "Moe Toyota"?
This is what I think of when I think of a moé Toyota. |

Every time I see some discussion on this a new little tidbits, the more I think that I'll be giving this one a pass. But, then I also think that I'm making a pretty snap judgement too...

I'm more than okay with newbies. Azusa from K-ON was Ayana Taketatsu's first role (And Christine Cabanos' too) and it's still my favorite role of her's to date.

However good or bad the show turns out to be, the OP already looks like a strong contender for year's best

There are supposedly two guys in the book, but dunno if KyoAni is even gunna bother with them in the anime seeing as still no mention of them being characters or anything. |

Pretty sure all of us think about K-On!, especially considering the fact it's animated by KyoAni. I hope they practice more music than doing tea parties. Just kidding.
Btw, I hate bushy eyebrows on girls. And here's one again. |
