Good director choice and also the series that the character designs that is being worked is from a guy who directed some of my favorite shows. Excellent.

Eguchi as Takeo? Huh, I was not expecting that. I pictured a much deeper and gruff voice for him.

I think that voice like Hatano Wataru's is more suited for Takeo

I think the point is that Takeo's voice may not have the gruff deep sounding voice we all envisioned while reading the manga. I may be wrong but they might give him a lighter voice on purpose to reflect his warm personality and thinking about it I think that would be a really great idea actually. Also it would add to the irony/humor of the whole story lol.

Well, Eguchi doesn't have that many roles yet, so he might surprise us. Also, casting in Madhouse anime usually good and since both Shimazaki and Han are perfect choices...
