Those doujinshi artwork Cross Ange looks absolutely amazing. I can see why hundreds would line up to buy even just one picture of Arina's artwork.

Ok, I would have NEVER expected her doing a Cross Ange doujin.
I don't suppose it's yuri right? |

I really like Cross Ange, and was really happy to see that at her booth yesterday.
I did not dare line up there. The line was HUGE. And not moving. |

I'm really liking Cross Ange, but it does lend itself quite nicely to doujinshi, due to the very nature of the series.
I've not really heard of this artist, but if she's well known, and she's doing doujins for a popular series, I's imagine they would be quite popular. Although it would make much more sense for it to be a yuri doujin. |

Does this have any sexual content? If so, I want to read it. The artwork is also very nice.

The question is, who had the longer line; Tanemura or Hidekaz Himaruya? http://hetascanlations.tumblr.com/post/106567046020/x-x-x-x-the-hell-line-for-himaruyas

Honestly, it was around the same. -_-; Second, as a reply to another comment, it is not R18+. |

Hmm...... Arina Tanemura is kind of a so-so for me. I liked Full Moon wo Sagashite, but I hated Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Then again, I really like Cross Ange so far. That's not a joke; I really like it. Hopefully, I can read Tanemura-sensei's book sometime in the future!

No need for the emote. I wasn't asking it in a competitive sense. |

That 1 Tweeter pic with the small "here" (koko ココ) just made me laugh. I love it.

I wasn't meaning it in a competitive sense. I was there, and the length of the lines makes me cringe. |

While I don't particularly care for Cross Ange, I am morbidly curious about what Tanemura did to put her spin on it. I know she likes mixing uber-shoujo with darker themes, but isn't there only, like, one guy going after Ange? Tanemura usually loves her love triangles (spoiler[unless we're throwing the brother into the mix?]). And Ange's still fairly prickly, so there goes the trademark "deep, important friendship between girls" trope that Tanemura likes so much.
EDIT: Just as a side note, I didn't know pro mangakas were allowed to do doujin; I figured there'd be too much red tape to maneuver politely from one professional to another. |
