So glad to see fujoshi sports series +Jojo dominating the chart.

I don't have the numbers on the original Psycho Pass, so I don't know if S2 has dropped considerably, but it's still sad to see such big numbers for a such a shitty sequel.

Technically they are shounen sports series that fujoshi like.

The first season of Psycho Pass sold 4,476 BD for it's first volume first week, so this is actually an increase in that department.

This. Those kind of shows usually have fanbase from multiple sects of the audience

I wonder if we're going to see a consistent growth for Yuki Yuna since I heard they REALLY underestimated the popularity thus stock shortages especially how recent episode got quite of bit of an uptick.

Now if only we have more female-led sport shows.

Seriously, there are sports like gymnastics that could have "legit fanservice" for the guys yet still have rock solid quality like the guys' sports. Kind of baffles me they haven't thought of that (unless their idea of a "sport" involves tanks or mahjong)

Yuki Yuna's numbers were better than I thought they'd be, considering there doesn't seem to be much buzz even in Jfandom. Hopefully that isn't just because of the PC game and it doesn't have a massive drop for volume two.

As for Psycho Pass, the sales for it actually started out not that amazing and improved as the series went on and picked up steam. It became a bit of a sleeper hit, in a sense.

Congratulations to Free and Haikyū respectively taking the third and fourth slots. Smile The popularity of shounen-themed sports anime must be really holding up in Japan right this moment.

Some exist, they're just super old, hard to come by, and unsubbed, like Hikari no Densetsu. There's also Kaleido Star, but that has very little service. In terms of just being about women playing sports, there's Attack No. 1, Princess Nine, Taishou Yakyuu Musume, Bamboo Blade, Moshidora, and C3-bu. And for something that's more of a game and less of a sport, Saki does have a lot service.

They had a good run, but it would seem that Ghibli is dead. May they rest in peace.

I am curious about who is still buying Frozen.
I am not making a negative comment about the movie. But with more than 2.3 million sold over four months I am surprised that there were nearly 20 thousand people who wanted it and did not already have it.

I am pleasantly surprised that MariMite still has some fans.
I must have watched all four seasons at least three times soon after Right Stuf released it here. But I have not gotten back to it since.
I really love the show, obviously, and the characters. This reminds me that I need to watch it again.
I am curious about what is included with this Blu-ray release, not that I could afford to import it.

It's a wintery film and it's a good time for any stragglers to buy it, just like Totoro always sells a few hundred DVDs every week.

While it's not an awful number, it's sad for me to see JoJo selling less and less which each passing volume (understandable considering it usually happens with long series, but still depressing). Also I always assumed it was by far the most mainstream saga of them all so that's even more unexpected. Makes me wonder if it's going to have some kind of impact on the release date of Part 4 sell since it's the one I'm expecting the most.
