Ooooh, if this leads to them adding Valkyria Chronicales II and III to the PC then this is good news. Loved the first game, but I've never owned a PSP/Vita so I could never play VC II and of course III never made it stateside.

Same here. Still, at least this means Sega hasn't forgotten VC exists. Also, I heard VC 2 and 3 were... pared down somewhat from the original (due to being on portables).

That would require Sega to spend money and they've shown an unwillingness to waste money on games or localizations that don't bring them money

VC 2 was actually an awesome game and in some ways the combat was much deeper than VC1. I still play it now using my PS Vita.

But yeah .. I would LOVE for Sega to port VC2 and 3, even if just to the PS Vita/ PS3.

To be honest, this is unexpected. Shocked

You know what would really rock: A Valkyria Chronicles compilation/collection which should consist of Valkyria Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 on PS4/XBONE with 1080P resolution, and dual audio.

Neat. More PC support from Japan is always welcome.

The gameplay changes for VC2 were great as far as class balance. The significantly smaller maps was a definite minus. Also the story in VC2 is way, way worse. Its like you take the awesomeness VC had and then merge it with a generic high school anime setting...

I really hope they port VC3, I heard that was great. I honestly would have imported it except my psp is a go which means syncing to a jp psn account which means I have to delete all my other games which is a huge hassle.

Really surprised, since the VC was pretty much a PS3 exclusive. Already have the game, but I'll double dip to support the series, especially if this means there's a chance we'll get VC2 and 3 ports. And who knows, if sales are good, maybe someone at Sega will dare suggest VC4!, Yeah, right'Sad'

Wooooooow! This is insane! If this comes to Steam, I'll totally buy it (a year later on a Steam Sale >.>;;;Wink.

Seriously though, I never got a PS3 or an Xbox 360, and over the past few years, I feel like not getting them has been just fine, as all the good games from those systems are hitting PC anyway. I'm really beginning to think that getting a high-quality PC controller (mine's an Xbox 360 Wired, natch) and simply going with PC (which I use already for other reasons, like watching anime), really is the best deal.

That's great Sega, now bring some more games to PC, like Shenmue and Virtua Fighter.
