Still somewhat bummed that Trigger is doing this generic LN thing after KLK/LWA/Inferno Cop. Hopefully they've found a way to spin it into something watchable.

It'll probably be more like what happened when Gainax did adaptations: absolutely nothing special or unique that no other studio couldn't have done themselves. Either way, it's a job, you can't only do originals in this climate unless each one is a hit, something GONZO and Madhouse had to learn the hard way.

I think of it this way. What did David Production do in between seasons of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? The Neptunia anime. Gotta make money.

Not sure that's a good way to think about it, considering JoJo's Bizarre Adventure made much more money than Neptunia did.

I don't really care for the title that was chosen. Inou Battle Within Everyday Life was already sufficient enough, in my opinion.

Will definitely try it out, though.

Still hoping this will be watchable, only reason I'm watching is because it's a LN adaptation and 99% of those I watch are great. Trigger is what I fear though. Their name attached to anything is a warning sign, I learnt that the hard way suffering through KLK and IC (though LWA was actually good). Keeping my hopes up though.

While I realize at this point it's just work for trigger to do I'll still check it out regardless, I'm not completely immune to LNs just so long as the characters aren't a bunch of dull boring dipshits and I do find some amusement in the idea of people just using their powers to dick around rather than being heroes or whatever. More than likely won't be special but I hope it's at least fun on some level.

I like light novel adaptions that are good, I like the series Trigger makes, and this series looks to be pretty enjoyable. Plus, I like the new title, it makes a lot more sense than the whole Inou Battle Within Every Day Life thing that they had before.

Then again, Neptunia was only 12 episodes long.

not before they were produced, it was not until joj was a proven hit that david studio stopped doing porn.

And that proves exactly what?

I am also having trouble getting what you are saying. David production doesn't actually fund these shows nor does it pitch them to producers, and there has only been one anime after Neptunia so it's ludicrous to claim how they have stopped "doing porn" forever.

That Neptunia was, like, David Production's not-so-important "let's kill some time" project?

Scale back your expectations.
SALES dictate the industry.
Like Miyazaki says, it is the fault of the "otaku" that the industry is full of this crap, though I do hope this anime will at least be enjoyable.
Trigger doesn't have infinite funds to make whatever they want.
