It sold well, we may get a S2. My decision to try Haikyuu just to try something different in anime really paid off as it's a pretty good series with decent comedy and the volleyball turned out to be very interesting to watch.

I already knew it was ending at 25, but it still makes me sad to hear it. This has been one of the best series to come out this year -the characterizations are fantastic, it's realistic and well animated, and it really makes you feel that passion for volleyball-, and the best sports anime in recent memory. I really hope we get a second season, and in the meantime, I suppose I'll try to catch up with the manga.

It was already confirmed to be 2-cour, I would hardly call this news.

No surprise there.
Just hoping it'll get a sequel! Haikyuu is love, Haikyuu is life.

Echoes of others: Not too surprised that Haikyu! is ending, but I am still disappointed to see it end. I also would love to see a second season. Though I assume it'd be too much to ask for the entire series to be animated. I've really loved Haikyu! for its characters. I am totally not a sports fan and have learned more than I ever planned to about volleyball in the process of watching! lol
