I absolutely love the game (can't wait for Re:code!), but I stopped watching this show after the disaster that was episode 3. I don't want my opinion of DMMd to be tarnished! I'm afraid to keep watching. P: I'm just glad I didn't get my hopes up for this before it started airing.

Don't worry, the animation returned to normal after episode 3.

This show was pretty boring at first, but from episode 6 or so on it's been getting much better.
The moment in episode 8 where spoiler[Aoba touched the mindworms in Noiz's mind and had his fingers bent in every direction actually made me jump back a little.] The characters are likeable, but I wish they interacted with each other more, instead of one-on-one with Aoba. I get that it's a BL game with Aoba as the lead, but it seems like it would be more fun.
And as someone's who's played DMMD, I am not looking forward to spoiler[Mink's] route in the least.

I actually thought they were going to skip Mink's route because of you-know-what, but it looks like it's just out of order. Which means the true ending will be crammed into two episodes, provided it even goes the way it should considering spoiler[Noiz took the bug out of Ren, which was an important plot point]. I'm still watching it to see just how it will end up but to say I'm disappointed with the anime is an understatement. One I do really like though is the music. Aside from the opening theme, the ending themes and OST is great.

... I love this review so much you don't even understand. That second paragraph in particular is gold. TvT

But anyway, I agree, this episode was the best one so far. Clear is adorable. I just wish the other boyfriends would interact with each other. Don't they ever leave their rooms?

Thing is, the game consisted of only Aoba receiving an invitation to Platinum Jail, which included a guest. So in each route there would only be one of them with him and the anime had to work around that. spoiler[don't worry though. The true end contains some group work that's both adorable and badass at the same time. Anime hyper]

True, I get why they kept them separated for their individual scraps, but I still think they should've interacted more before ep. 10 Sad spoiler[Ah but I've actually finished the game (not completely done with re:code though), and you're right! The formation Team Boyfriend was one of my favorite non Sei or Ren related parts of the true route xD]

Hilarious review for episode 12. But never mind the nipples, what about the pelvic shot when Aoba says he needs Ren? If Ren's not sporting, um, happy to see you pants, then...I guess it's a banana?

Toue's checkout seemed awfully generous for the arch villain though. I guess he was truly the greatest gamesman of them all. ::moment of silence::

Really, not a bad ending, all things considered, and there's a lot to consider. They exceeded my expectations for a reasonable conclusion.
