I once saw a video of a group setting up a school to replicate the "Korekara no Someday" video from the first season. I'm not entirely sure the dancers were female...
Can't find that video now. |

Those boys are looking pretty cute. Good for them!
I can just imagine the brouhaha this would create if it was done anywhere in the U.S. You would get the usual freaked out parent or two, and publicity seeking Church groups making a huge fuss. |

I don't know about high schools, but there I've heard of Drag Balls in colleges (my college and a friend's have both had them) and no one has commented. Of course, there is a big difference between high school and college, since the parents aren't so nearby and might not be as aware of events, but it's not like it's unheard of. Anyway, this is pretty cool! Nice way to show how much they like the show. |

My middle school in Kentucky (ie right in the Bible Belt) had a drag competition for our 8th graders (and only other 8th graders and the 7th graders could watch it). It was sort of our yearly tradition to have some fun before the 8th graders moved onto high school, even the teachers took part! (I'll never forget the one guy in my class who, instead of dressing like a hot babe, decided to dress as his grandmother, walker and all! ) |

These are just the types of stuff high schools would do if ya participate in the Battle of the Classes. And somewhat related, let's not forget Halloween, where guys would dress and act like the White Lady in Wedding Gown, Rocky Horror S&Ms, etc. Anyways, this reminds us of this story: Pics from Japan’s Miss Komaba High School Beauty Pageant!
