Either this film is going to take drastic liberties with the source material, or "A Serbian Film" is going to have competition for most unbelievably heinous film ever.

Okay, once I've managed to get over the crazy, crazy notion that this series is getting a live-action adaptation (the heck?!), I must say... kinda missed the boat, no? This manga is kinda old, as it is. I recall it being big in '06-ish.

Here's hoping it just comes-and-goes...

N...no way... I gotta see this...

How in the world will they make an accurate live-action version of this without going to jail?

If they're gonna make this movie, they need Takashi Miike to direct it.

Stick an R-18 rating on it and put a disclaimer that says absolutely not for children. I'd be more concerned about who's seeing this over there in Japan, the normal curious adult population I'm not concerned about but you know some Otaku are insane and them watching this won't help matters.

I could see a Anime 18 being made of this manga but a live action. I wonder the manga to live action they have toned down the sex and nudity. If Uziga intends to make a great NC 17 movie maybe this might work but it would've been better to make a Anime 18 instead. Confused

I reread Mai Chan just now. It still sucks balls.
How will they handle the shota rape and the baby killing ?
Can´t see the B movie audience going for that.
And i have to defend A Serbian Movie a bit but not too much(WTF was the baby scene purpose ?). That one had an ironic story about the serbian film market to tell. Mai was just amateurish looking and repetitive dismemberment scenes with too much rape afterwords.
Didn´t Uziga do a dojinshi about Junko Furuta ? Is that next in line ?
That one was the worst of his work but not as bad as the porno that was based on her death. I will probably look at a supercut of Mai Chan after it releases just to check the effects out because i am a hypocrite.

By the way. A Serbain Movie and Canibal Holocaust are currently on youtube so maybe their watchdogs just gave up and only ban porn.
Funny isn´t it.
