That's a lot of theatres showing the movie.

I watched it last year and it was okay. If you like redline you can now see takuya in live-action instead of just the voice.

I haven't seen this live movie and it would definitely be nice to see it in the theatre. We have no transit service on holidays, so my roommate and I would have to take a taxi. If we win the tickets, that would cut the expense for sure Smile

Either way, it would be a nice experience. We both like Yamato, including the remake of the series.

As a "new generation" Yamato fan thanks to the new anime series, I'm intrigued by how the live-action movie will play out. I'm not expecting too much, granted.

Even if I don't win the tickets, I think I'll be able to get to the theater by 6:50 and be able to get a ticket just fine.

I'm glad I saw this contest. I wouldn't have even known the film was being shown at my local theatre, otherwise. I was thinking about getting the BD for this film, until I saw the price ($64.10 at my local home video shop). Now I can see the movie on the big screen and determine whether it would be worth buying the BD.

Apparently I won the draw for my city, but there seems to be a bit of a problem with how I found out. You see, the contest page said that the winners would be contacted on November 1st, but I wasn't contacted until November 11. Getting the e-mail at around noon doesn't really help me plan things out when I'm at work and have no internet access. Given that I had no idea I won and, therefore, made other plans for the evening, I was beyond too late to cash in my prize by the time I finally got home and checked my e-mail.

Did anyone else not find out they won until 10 days too late?

Wouldn't surprised me if it was that mismanaged.

If it really was that mismanaged, then I'm a little surprised. This is the first time I've seen ANN (or whoever they contracted) screw up on one of their Great Canadian Ticket Giveaways.
