Urusei Yatsura is the one that needs the most love, because it was released by animeigo in like 25 box sets not counting the ova and movies, with half the impossible to come by. I would put masion ikkoku second because the last half the series suffers similar scarcity problems.
On the flip side, the thin pak and even original boxsets of ranma are not too hard to get and there are only 7, 8 with the ovas. Though I would take all 3 on blu ray. |

Great news I've been wanting to pick up Maison Ikkoku for a long time.

Ranma 1/2 blu ray would be awesome. I would double dip for it.
Maison Ikkoku went out of print before I could get the whole series and later volumes were hard to find anyway. I guess could be a far dream that they recuse license Urusei Yatsura while at it. |

I would love to see Ranma 1/2 get a Blu-ray release in the US, I miss the chance to buy any of the DVDs for Maison Ikkoku, so it be great to see that get relicensed cause its one of the fewest Takahashi series I am behind on.

No, she left FUNi and went to work for Viz 5 months ago. http://www.facebook.com/tristen.citrine/posts/10152520833945167 http://bit.ly/1745SZr (For those without Facebook, her post was screencapped at my request by a friend.) |

@CrownKlown
Animeigo issued Urusei Yatsura TV in 10 box sets of 5 disks each. The 50 individual disks were later issued separately. The OAVs were issued as a 6 disk box set and the movies as a 5 disk set (with room for the other movie). For at least a year prior to going OOP they were offered at a significant discount and they gave a several month warning before they went OOP. It would however be nice to get them in Bluray. |

I was kind of hoping they'd re-do "Ranma 1/2" by either going the DBK route and cutting all the filler, the FMAB route and remaking it entirely, or the IYFA and just continuing where the anime left off, because I want to see Ranma fight Herb in animated form.

Urusei Yatsura and Ranma I would definitely get. I own all of Ranma (minus the movies) in DVD right now but a remastered BD would be better!

That would make my dream come true to see Ranma again in a streamlined way. But for now, i hope VIZ gets the BD rights and put Ranma and the rest of Takahashi's anime as well. I surly wouldn't mind them getting the Rumiko World older OVAs on DVD as well: One Pound Gospel, Fire Tripper, Mars, Mermaid Forest, and Mermaid Scar. |
