Yep. Please be excited for a repeat.
2nd season apparently does not cover Daihaiseisai? or so I read on MAL. I hope that's not true otherwise, I just lose even more interest in Railgun.

Well since the daihaiseisai arc isn't finished in the manga it might be a problem unless the anime does it's own ending with it.
But there's still plenty of stuff they can fit in for the second half, there's the intro with Kongou still which can be easily modded to work in the anime. A few side chapters with slice of life stuff, plus they can always just use the liberal arts city arc since they've mentioned it in the anime at least once already.

Hmm... I would put bets on Liberal Arts City, it felt heavily foreshadowed at when they mentioned the trip earlier in the season. I could also see a second Accel vs Touma fight beefed out and from Misaka's point of view.

The Daihaseisai arc in the Railgun manga is not completed is what he was referring to, as far as I can tell.

? Yes. It's written as a RAILGUN side story as far as I remember reading.

The voice actress of Misaki already said in an interview that she was a cameo appearance, and that she's not returning for the rest of the show. Since she plays such a big part in that arc, there's no way they're doing it.
I am guessing that they'll fill the rest of the show with filler/fan service, degrading Misaka even more. Oh splendid. >

There's no anime-original arc like in the first season. That was confirmed by Warner Bros. from the beginning.
How they're filling the time remains a mystery.

That really sucks, but i guess it can't be helped due to the manga. Still there was more thane enough material for the anime.
Biggest problem I had with fillers. But it seems LAC has a really good chance then. It only makes sense with Index 3's Battle Royale and ECW.
