Maybe it's just my computer, but the survey link does not appear to be working.

The lack of someone from Tiger & Bunny seems terryfying.

I was expecting Kinnikuman for some reason. IN one of the earlier chapters, he gets beat up by preschoolers, which is pretty sad by any excuse.

I'm just amazed that something like Kekko Kamen could have run in a magazine that is nominally aimed at kids. I mean, isn't it pretty much softcore porn?

I have to go with Natsumi Hinata (Sgt. Frog), because she is not just an ass-kicking no-crap-taking person, who is easy on the eyes, but she is also this comedy's Voice of Reason, with her hammer space signs that simply say "STOP" or "NO" or "THAT'S CRAZY." Anime needs more characters like that.

Best I get in reality is some little post it notes that look like stop signs. Sad

Nah, no one but Kekko Kamen could have been in the #1 spot.

The rest are all good candidates, but there are so many other fitting ones (that sentai team headed by Don Kanoji in Bleach, for instance, or the title character of Butt Attack Punisher Girl) that who gets chosen for the other six spots - beyond Saiyaman, who absolutely has to be on this list - pretty much comes down to personal preference.

At least the Digital World and Gaia took the #2 and 3 spots respectively.

The Great Saiyaman was one of the few things that really smelled like Toriyama's classic style of ridiculous and comedy rather than the hardcore and badass he made in the second half of the series. One of the best parts was how in his introduction Great Saiyaman said "I'll tell you my name in the next chapter."

Shinesman! Such a hilarious OVA. I'm both surprised and pleased to see it mentioned.

Two more goofy superheroes...
Dokkoider: He has a power suit that resembles a purple Ultraman wearing a diaper.
Daichis, Earth Defense Family: A dysfunctional family superhero team. Not something you would expect from the creator of Macross (Shoji Kawamori).

You might be surprised to learn that the humor of a hero called "Rapeman" would not be appreciated by 1/3of the female population and a good portion of the male population too. Use your eyeroll emoticon all you like.
