I liked the pre-Revoltech Yamaguchi figure's approach to crossing the arms: There's a separate chest plate with a sculpt of perfectly folded arms built in. Remove the forearms, plug the stumps into that, and there you go. Although, that particular figure doesn't have much in the way of accessories, and can't transform like the Revoltech.
