Piss off, Nintendo. The Wii is hardly obsolete, if it is at all, and I have no reason or plans to buy a Wii U anytime soon.

It's not like they're shutting down online game support. I'm sure most of those channels weren't used much anyway. I think I used the Everybody Votes one twice ever.

Those channels take money to keep up due to servers. Money that the Wii just doesn't make anymore. It's better to focus their efforts on their newest console, which is in a tough spot right now.
