Hope to see an official confirmation and a close release date. 2013 looks to be a good year for Nintendo, especially for the 3DS.

Indeed, the 3DS is finally rocking! I think there is actually an incentive for me to get it now.

Also it would be nice to get an official confirmation for this, maybe E3?

I'm so glad they're bringing this over for the fans in the West, finally. It's one of things that people have been wishing Square Enix would make for years. It's basically like playing a good old PS1-era Final Fantasy title, but rather than being a re-port/re-make of an old game, it carries with it a whole new kind of world and experience I've yet to see elsewhere, making the old elements feel fresh again (I keep having to remind myself that I've seen them a hundred times before).

Square might have trouble making new games seem new and fun, but I think that's exactly why they should stick to what they know. They truly do make fun JRPG's when they stick to their guns, and this is a great example that the experience of the genre can be re-invented in many different ways.

On that note, I haven't finished the game just yet. I really need to finish the games I get from Japan before they come out in the West. It makes getting them from Japan slightly less satisfying...

I don't trust anything Siliconera says without an official press release.

Case in point? Type-0. And ironically enough, Before Crisis too.
