so only the main cast + Touma can afford full names? Colleen Clinkenbeard as Therestina should be fun

It's getting pretty annoying with Funi blocking everything for people outside the US. Can't watch the damn trailer but there's a way around that. Just a bit annoying. Why block trailers? Good cast list nevertheless.

i dont ever recall Index being in Railgun besides two cameo appearances: quick cameo in Opening 2 and the episode where the Tokiwadai dorm is having that "festival" and Index was eating all the food. i dont think she was talking ever

That certainly is a FUNimation dub cast. No big surprises at all.
It'll do though.

Huh, it's been a bit since I've heard a name completely botched in the trailer. Glad this is coming out, but I'll be skipping the dub. "Mee-suhka" would drive me insane and having "sissy" in place of "onee-sama" doesn't work at all for me.

Yeah I'm gonna skip on the dub as well for those reasons to... maybe it's because I'm spoiled I've been listening to same Japanese audio for nearly five years now.

I'll give a few episodes of the dub a try, but Misaka and Kuroko's japanese voices are just ingrained in my mind now that it's jarring to see different sounding voices.

Seems like FUNimation based the voices more on the looks of the characters than on the original Japanese voice cast. Either way, the casting choices are more on the odd side (ex. Misaka, Kuroko, and Saiten's don't seem befitting even by visual) and it sort of sounds underwhelming. Outside of Satomi Arai's distinctive voice for Kuroko, I thought Railgun's cast would have been rather simple to find compatible dub voices for, despite the great job they did.

Well, now that Railgun is finally in the process of being dubbed, I'll have no problem enjoy every single episode of it to its fullest. Yes, some parts of it are a bit...too quirky for my taste, but I think I'll live through them.

People outside of America are getting their releases anyway though.
I hope Kuroko's voice in the dub will be as screechy as in original.

I'm like this as well.
I'll probably check out the dub though, for my obsessive nature of "Watch Dub first when I get DVD/Blu-Ray."
I only saw Index and Railgun recently thanks to a friend I go to school with. Got me obsessed with it (and Oriemo, but that's neither here nor there.)
I just like Kuroko's "Formal, but not too formal" way of speaking in the original. But "Sissy?"Not sister? Sissy just seems like it's...derogatory, even in the context it's in.

ugh wouldn't Sis work better than sissy? and lol at misaka's va totally butchering the name.
Aside from that, with some getting used to, the dub voices don't seem all that bad.
