I agree. It is visually stunning, at least from this trailer. I have to say, it is hard to believe it is not a movie.

Definitely going to check this one out although hard to say it'll be spectacular or not just from the promo. Still looking forward of it course.

Looks better than Valvrave the Liberator, at least.

The setting is so pretty that it seems ripe for destruction.

Oh WOW. Production IG is obviously awesome, and Gen Urobochi wrote Psycho-Pass, last season's best series (not to mention Madoka...)

And to top it off, they somehow reached into my brain and figured out my fetish for ocean planets with giant ships. I don't see how this could be anything other than pure awesomeness.

That looked obscene (although the CG mecha in the end looked iffy). That definitely shows me even more now that I.G is serious about this title (given this and the staff they assembled). Sooooooo wishing this ends up on the 1080p-capable Crunchyroll…

You've had Tide-Line Blue, Mars Daybreak, Tactical Roar, Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, Blue Submarine No. 6, and Submarine 707R for quite a while now. Water world anime have been done, although I'm fully willing to admit most of them aren't noteworthy. Not so heavy on the action, but there's also Aria and YKK for more relaxed viewings. It'd be really funny to imagine some of these series running together, Mars Daybreak and Aria could easily take place in the same universe.

Wow, that background art looks ni--ASS!

Really guys?

Well, the background art looks great, and what little animation we've seen looks pretty good too (I'll admit the rotating ass is still pretty well animated).

I really hope this has a good story and not too much distracting fanservice.

Can't get it to play even with JS and Flash switched completely on, but the description sounds interesting.

Is "Verdurous" seriously the official translation of the title? Not "Verdant", even?

What's wrong with the word "verdurous"? It means basically the same thing as "verdant".

It's an anime original movie that takes place somewhere in the middle of the series timeline. It's pretty good too.

Yeah, that was stunning looking. The animation and coloring work really does look like a movie.

With those great and expansive world and stary-sky/space shots I can just imagine that the full version of that awesome music track that's playing in that trailer is going to be epic. Now I'm looking forward to the series' music too.
