Is Okada writing this installment as well? The preview made me think we were going to be trading some depth in story and characterization in favor of more kawaii-girls-do-kawaii-things approach. It was the whole "Tenpou reforms" meets "girl idols" aspect that kept my interest in this show.

the PV seems to indicate a similar balance to last season. Plus I am more interested in the centernova stuff that they keep hinting at. |

I loved the first season of this show, to my surprise. It looked like it would simply be shameless marketing for AKB48 at first, but the story was surprisingly compelling. Can't wait to see where they take the story in this second season.

As far as I know the cast was the same. Also, judging the entire content of a 13 episode show on a 2 minute teaser is...not the greatest idea in the world. |

I wonder if Cheri's father will be more involved as well. Considering he's the one producing her enemies' weapons, it'll bring in a lot more juicy drama. |

I am not a fan of AKB48 but the anime was awesome. Beautiful CGI and good plot, I cannot wait for the second season.
