I loved their single Tsukiakari no Michishirube (OP for Darker than Black), they were such an awesome band! Stereopony we will miss you!!

Geez, and they were one of my favorite groups, too. Yet another good Japanese group is breaking up…shame, but wish them all the best (and hopefully they will get back together, one day).

This is a terrible shame. Granted, I didn't like their newest album as much as their first two, but I loved their more recent singles, including Chiisana Mahou, which I feel is one of their best songs.
You will be missed.

To me, this sounds like the surgery and/or whatever Aimi had is much more serious that it potentially changed her future singing career. If I had to guess, she may have been the one to initiate the disbanding to "benefit" the other two, especially given the half-hearted response of "continue making music in some form"

This is disappointing, I loved the OP to Darker than Black, I wish them all the best in the future, but I hope they can get back together maybe later.

Last month (2 Sept) see them live at AFAID so energetic yet so awesomee, even aimi sing like has no problem at all. Really really shocked to see them disband after see live last month

Very Sad news indeed. I hope AIMI recovers, but it does seem her condition was worse than first reported. I'm thankful for their shows in the US and enjoyed their live performances. My dream of seeing a live SCANDALPony show seems very distant now

Same here. Sad to see them break up, but at least there doesn't appear to be any bad blood between them. |

I also think it's great that despite their breakup, they all still plan on continuing their careers in music!! But still... Stereopony we will miss you so much!! Hopefully "A Hydrangea Blooms" (Hydrangea ga Saiteiru) and all their other great albums will continue to bloom within everyone's hearts for years to come!!
