If I had to pick a favourite VA, it would probably be this guy.

Vancouverite here. Glad to see we're getting a decent sized anime convention for once.

This was quite the surprise seeing any news about AR on ANN as I don't recall anything ever being posted here back when AE was around.

I thought AE back in its day was a pretty nice sized convention. FanExpo was ok, definitely not as big as I thought it would be. And I can't speak for any of the cons that are held on the island, like Tsukino-Con, but Tsukino-Con itself sounds like its decently sized.

After seeing the announcement on the AR web-site, I was actually thinking of asking the AR staff if they were planning on submitting a related press release to ANN. Glad this news got picked up. I've enjoyed the many AE conventions I've attended in the past, and I'm hoping AR will be even better.

Oh dammit. I wasn't planning to go to AR because I have work but now I am tempted to pay for just a day pass since my work is only 15 minutes away from the convention centre.

Here's a bit of a fun fact that I'm pretty sure many aren't aware of: Jouji Nakata is also the voice provider of Papa Macne of the Macloid Series.[/b]
