Gah, I miss the original Chie voice. Yukiko sounds like she might be off too, same with Kanji...definitely not liking this. Sad

I don't want to just complain about it because the game looks great, but gah. The original cast for the game was perfect.

This is why I hate the effin English dub casts on sequels or similar titles.

They don't get ALL the original casts.

KUMA WTF...

YU HAS ADACHI'S VOICE >_>...

That part's actually accurate(-ish) though - in the original game, both the MC (or 'Yu') and Adachi were voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch.

I was kind of hoping they'd do more separate voices for the two if he remained playing both characters in these incarnations where Yu talks more. Yu should get his lower, more Ichigo-like voice and Adachi something closer to Vash.

Are there any other games Atlus released lately that have dual-audio options? The only one I can think of is Sky Gunner and that was an old ps2 game.

I definitely think it's a good idea they've added it to Arena, I don't really like a couple of the new voices either.

Well this was pretty much a given, due to being ArcSys... all of their games are dual audio. Glad to see it confirmed though.

Thank God.

Though I think the only reason they're giving us dual audio this time around is because of the anime. People now know the existence of the Japanese seiyuu since people were forced to watch it subbed.

Wish the Golden had a dual audio track, though

They're giving us dual-audio because it's insane NOT to give us dual-audio.

That's just a given these days.

It costs money to implement the dual audio gamewise and to license it.

So it all depends on whether they think the investment brings more money than what it is worth.

I don't really care about that. Its not acceptable to release a foreign DVD without its original voice track, so why is it considered okay with games?

If theres an original voice track, and there is space on the disc, it needs to be there. No question.

I've been wondering that myself.

Video games aren't as respected in the west as anime is. Probably won't be for a good while.

And I don't see how it costs more to leave something that already exists there. If anything, it costs more to hire new VAs and dub it into English.
