I know it can be spelled either way, but "defense" with a "c" just looks wrong. Just saying this for no particular reason.

As for the article: Get them while they're young and stupid and using their fetishes has been known to work.

Next up: using moe/cat girls to get the rest of the otaku population to sign up.

Both look wrong to me. I know they're both right, but they just don't look it! The funny thing is I'm perfectly fine with "grey" and "gray".

Well, luckily they're not as likely to actually be deployed as, say, the American army.

U.S. used cartoon characters to recruit and train young people during World War 2. Although Japan isn't actively involved in foreign wars, its citizens are not conscripted like half of the world.
