Yeah, I kind of wish this one got the anime instead of the other honorable mention. Shame this is only a novel.

Marty Stu meets Mary Sue. Marty Stu saves Mary Sue even though she probably could handle herself. The stuff apparently happen.
I really don't feel that interested in this. KyoAni can do better.

@Chagen46
As boring as your take on the summary sounds, did you actually read the book? There's not much in the summary that describes their personalities, and even if it did describe their personalities along with the premise, it would be a mockery to actual character establishment and development.
Though I know this is just a commercial for the light novel, it really makes me want to see a new fantasy action series from KyoAni. It's clear that they have the ability to create amazing action sequences.

I hope you didn't make this conclusion just after this pv. They have the talent and they recently waste it for shounen and childish seinen anime.

A more interesting take:
- Let girl jump.
- Laugh your ass off at newly created street pizza.
- ????
- Profit.

You know, its kinda revealing how often your "solution" involves people dying.

They are just publishing the novel, first. I guess your "complaint" should be directed to the author of the novel instead.

By definition, Seinen is not for children. So it's not childish.

Also a very strange thing to say in general, considering KyoAni's collected output thus far.

They prove the opposite with "k-on!!". Aiming adults in anime not mean automatically the product will fit really the average "adult" (+18) taste. Seinen is more and more wider category.

That's some generalization going on there with the "average 'adult' taste."

It's much more entertaining than the usual fair. And Chagen is right, they can do better, much better than this otaku wish-fulfillment novel.

Why do you give a damn? Seriously. Its not like there is a shortage of stuff to watch. This isn't even an anime!
