I would really love to see this brought over one day. However seeing as the original licensor is down and out (Bandai Ent.) I'm not holding my breath.

Wait, S-Cry-ed Alteration were films? I never knew that.

I remember watching the series when it was on AnimeCentral and I own the boxset. While I enjoyed it at the time, looking back, the series wasn't really anything special.

I remember this being extremely campy and very underwhelming as it got towards the end. The coolest characters were also the ones who were the most subtle concerning involvement to the story.

I'm wondering why Scryed is suddenly getting movie treatment. Not that I'm unappreciative, because I did enjoy watching the show, but I'm wondering who the movies are supposed to be catering for - the movies don't need to clear up the story or the ending, and the show is not particularly popular nor held in high esteem either.

Yeah, I watched it when it had its day on Adult Swim back in 2005 and 2006. It was also enjoyable but not all that special. Kyoji Mujo was one despicable villain though, even more so than Naraku.

Hopefully Funimation or somebody will give this a chance at a license. Bandai just isn't in the business anymore. That doesn't mean Bandai Japan can't still sell license to other companies such as Funimation and Sentai. Hopefully Steve Blum would reprise his role as Kazuma, but I don't give a darn about any of the others.
