Golf club covers?
Pet food bowls?

I'm sorry, I quite like K-ON (and would have bought the blu-rays, were they available in the UK) but this is getting ridiculous.

When do they start selling barrel scrapers?

there is a time when a franchise can become too big to the point of ridicule and then it just all gets a bit sad from then on

i feel K-ON! has now reached said point now

This is getting out of hand...
At this rate, I won't have enough room left to collect everything anymore. I better cut down to getting just one of each from now on instead of buying multiples to use, frame, and store.

Wouldn't that point you mentioned be the point at where these goods stop selling? I mean ridicule is easy, K-ON! has been ridiculed from day one by a number of people.

Pretty much. A series will always have bashers from day 1.

I don't think that the majority of people buying these will be using them for their pets.

Some K-on! goods have been targeted towards women and the pet food bowls are probably part of it; japanese women spend a great deal of money on their pets (Japan Times). And given how over a third of K-on! fans are female this is a no brainer.

Likely the target demographic but I still foresee more of these being hung on walls or used at the table by male fans than being used for pets by female fans.

Just my perception of the fandom. Probably a bit warped, even I'll admit it.

Warped indeed. I see no reason to believe "more of these" being used by actual people, since there already are other options of actual bowls and plates:
