Answer: Some
Well that is considering that his song mentioning DB and Deathnote have been floating around anime fandom for a little while now. |

I'm glad he dressed up for the occasion. Everyone else must've felt so awkward because they forgot their flat caps, chains, and white sneakers.

Inviting him is only encouraging more horrific "music".

I can see why the industry would want celebrities to be associated with anime but c'mon... even in the rap world this guy is considered a doofus.

Why so hard on the man? Plenty of other guys are shown in those pictures wearing jeans and sneakers. Hell Todd Haberkorn has on sandals and socks. And this guy looks like all he did was throw on a sports jacket. |

Screw Soulja Boy. I'm exited to hear Alana Lee was there! She's quickly becoming one of my favorite new singers, and she's only released a couple songs! The other people I recognized are Jamie Marchi, Mike McFarland, Vic Mignogna, Justin Rojas, and Todd Haberkorn. I'm surprised more people didn't dress up. It looked almost... casual!

Surprised Anime News Network didn't mention Soulja Boy "sampling" Death Note.

I was going to go see the movie in Hartford this weekend, but it's on at nighttime, and being in Hartford at night is a not my idea of a good time.

Sorry but I have a very urban upbringing so I had to look up Alana Lee. Yeah...ARK Music Factory let's see how that lasts. |

This is the same guy who claimed he had a private jet, yet the story had to be redacted by a rep when people questioned the purchase and took a GOOD LOOK at his possible fiances. And he dissed the military with his words.
Yeah, even Vic Mignogna isn't THAT sketchy enough to warrant hate. |

While he may have possibly been the worst mainstream rapper of the previous decade (Vanilla Ice had the '90s), at least the kid has good taste in media.

can someone make a wikipedia page for Alana Lee? I have no idea who she is but the only pages I can find on her have been deleted. I did find a website and a song called butterflies that's super autotuned...if that's correct then I completely give up on mainstream music

Vic Mignogna is a lovable goof ball, Soulja Boy is... kind of a joke. Not to diss on him as I've not met him in real life, so he could be a perfectly nice guy but... after listening to his songs. I'm sorry man, but just to take one of his songs, "Guko" into account, it was just like the same sentence over and over and over again slightly changed to "Vegeta" and "Gonhan" and, yeah. He needs to work on his music to say the least.
