Rolling Eyes But karaoke's not as fun by yourself...

I can sing to myself at home for free and without having to go anywhere. Cool

Reminds me of what Yozora and Sena did in Haganai episode 6.

I guess the idea is that you look so pathetic going in there by yourself that girls feel bad for you and take you out.

The single person restaurants are a good idea, though. I hate sitting alone at a big table and eating at the bar is only OK if you drink.

I for one thought this was a good idea upon first reading. But I also enjoy going to the theater by myself when the entire place is empty.

I don't think this is a replacement for group karaoke, but rather some kind of supplement to it. It's like a small personal recording studio.

I like the singles restaurant idea too. Makes sense to have a small personal grill or hot pot since one person might like to enjoy such a meal but would end occupying something like a 4 person table.

For the karaoke, it seems to kind of defeat the purpose, though I suppose you could use it as practice.

Now, if they connect this to an online game like Rock Band, then it wouldn't be so bad. Laughing
