I've heard that Nana Mizuki, the lead in the Japanese version of "Blood-C" is going to be the lead in the English language version as well. I had no idea that she knows English.
Also,I hope that one day,CLAMP does a manga that's set in the United States. I'd love to read it. I hope they do that.

...Where did you hear that from? I don't recall seeing any news about the Anime getting a dub, or even being licensed. O_o

Considering it has a red exclamation mark beside the name, and there is no news to confirm that it is true, I am pretty sure someone was trolling the page by posting that. Their source is a Japanese page which confirms who is doing Saya's voice in general

I'll report it as it is obviously false.

Very interesting and informative interviews. I didn't know they were producing a new movie.

Quote:
The continuity in the “Blood” world doesn't include the character being the same person; it's in the essence of the character itself.

That explains quite a bit, as I was wondering why it seemed they'd diverged so much with the main character's incarnation in Blood-C.

Though I'm not so much a fan of CLAMP, but more a fan of the franchise, I'm still willing to give Blood-C a fair shake should it be dubbed and released in North America.

Also, is it just me or was the beginning of the interview with Junichi Fujisaku cut off? Seems to start with "franchise so far..." and isn't bolded, like the other questions.

Wow, that was strange - HTML mixup. It's fixed now, thanks!

This was kind of a sleeper hit. There was some decent pre-season hype, but the first few episodes left many cold. I really enjoyed it because things were TOO quiet, in that way that makes you suspicious, especially because each episode included a serious fight sequence. The disconnect was bizarre. Now we get to see the payoff for all of the setup.

I recommend the show. The most gruesome sequences have been censored, but it is full of bloody violence, so squeamish people might want to avoid it.

Wait, Blood-C is only going to be 12 episodes!?!?!?!? I serisouly thought it was going to be a 24-26 episode series, especially with the pacing early on in the series. I'm kind of bummed now...

There is a movie coming out in 2012. Maybe if both the series and film do well they might do a second season. But we can only wait and see (don't know if the movie will be a re-telling or a sequel to the TV series).

Same, i'd hoped that it'd at least that long. I was hoping it'd be 50 episodes ala Blood+. But I'll take what I can get. Anime cry

I'm one of the few (judging by the online response) who have been enjoying this show from the beginning, but I'm even more excited about it after last week's big reveal that firmly established this series as spoiler[part of CLAMP's multiverse.]

Now that Junichi Fujisaku admitted he let CLAMP's Nanase Ohkawa write all of the dialogue while he focused on the action scenes, the disconnect makes a lot more sense to me.

Once you see the last episodes, you'll want to go back and watch it again from episode 1.

That's quite a claim. They'll have to do something really awesome to make those first episodes worthwhile and even more to make me want to rewatch them Shocked
