Those monuments are one of the coolest things I have seen in my life.
...I can't even put into words how badly I want to be there.

I agree. I saw the pictures of the merchandise and the park. They were awesome. But my favorite pic was the graveyards of Ace and Whitebeard. It's an exact replica from the anime and manga. I'm saving money to go next year to Tokyo. When I finish my studies, I'm gonna go crazy of buying the merchanise and taking pics of the place.

Heh, the title didn't indicate this was Universal Studios Japan. I pass by Universal Studios every day (the one in Studio City), and I was wondering why I didn't know about this.
I also thought that Universal Studios is making a live-action adaptation of the series for American audiences or something, considering an American theme park wouldn't do something like this if it weren't preparing for a theatrical release.

Aw.... I know I should have expected it to be Universal Studios Japan, but I was really hoping it was Universal Studios Florida. I only live about 3 hours away...

The monuments are awesome. I am happy that I am current on the OP stream otherwise those spoiler monuments would have pissed me off.

I really have to wonder about this sort of event and restaurant at the Japan theme park, and if it has any better quality in experience than the Universal Studios parks here. Being from Florida I frequented all the theme parks in Orlando regularly and well... all their food is the same, they just change the wall decorations a bit UNLESS you go to one of their super expensive places. Coolest "atmosphere" place to get food would have had to be the Jurassic Park restauran which tried to be like the main building from the movie, but the food was just typical hamburgers and the like with dinosaur related names. Then there was the one place named after Blondie or so (the comic) that had maybe two signature comic inspired dishes but... well outside of those it was the same as all the other places.
Biggest Universal Studios food disappointment though had to be at their Simpson's area, and spotting a Quik-E Mart, going in expecting to buy some junk food or a slurpie or something and finding all they sold were stinking souvenirs and Homer slippers.
I want to see more pictures and reviews of One Piece's place in Japan now to see if Japan sets a high quality in terms of amusement park food.

Wow, I never once thought I would be able to say this, but my name is in the article information. "Teriyaki D. Dog."
It goes without saying that the last part of user name, is terrier and that by definition is a dog. It's pretty cool to be honest.
As for the topic at hand, well at first I thought they meant the Universal Studios in the states, but of course they mean the one in Japan.
