Quote: | Currently, the website offers recipes for the herring and pumpkin pie from Kiki's Delivery Service (pictured at right), spaghetti and meatballs from Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, Satsuki's homemade box lunch (bentō) from My Neighbor Totoro, mammoth meat (actually sirloin beef on a clay bone) from Hajime Ningen Gyatoruz, and ramen with ham from Ponyo. |
So, mostly Miyazaki films.

This is a really yummy idea
I was actually inspired by an anime (Cross Game) to learn how to make Spaghetti Napolitan (which happens to be delicious and very easy to make).

At first I thought the sirloin beef on a clay bone would have been a One Piece reference. Yes, strangely, it looks more like fish on a clay bone in the picture.

That was my first thought. Now I wanna make it, for One Piece purposes... Man, A part of me wishes they had stuff from Black Butler or One Piece

I mentally shout that pretty much every time I see the word. Then again, the Ponyo BD is sitting on my desk as I type this so it's usually fresh in my mind.

I'd love to know how Mafuyu makes her Borsch in Seikon no Qwaser; it looks delicious.

Oh yeah, play time! I'm going to be trying these. I'm especially curious about the herring and pumpkin pie, the mammoth meat, and the ramen with pork. They're not especially complex dishes, and they might just be pretty good. It should be fun.

The website indicates that more articles are coming. Who knows, maybe some of them will be from Trigun. Stay tuned.
