This is the wrong Beretta for Yuri cosplay as she used a Model 92 for most of the series, and this is a Px4 Storm (or more likely, facsimile thereof).

Whoa now, that gun is clearly "not immediately identifiable as a toy".

Where's the orange tip? That's a "potentially dangerous weapon" right there!

That could get you kicked out of a con like Otakon, as I remember my technicalities.

I'm surprised no "do-gooder" went after the cosplayer for this. Really, I make this post with a heavy dose of sarcasm, but realism motivates it.

On a positive note, now I know what that cosplay actually is. I've seen it around at cons and didn't really know. Bear in mind that I didn't know what Mio's "Don't Say Lazy" gothic-lolita-flapper costume was until 2010 so I'm behind on some of these popular things.

Not even close. Since the top didn't even resemble the character, she could at least go full body to partially hide that fact.

Costume is cute, and she seems really into it...but that is NOT Yuri's Beretta. At least make it look silver, dang it!
