They're dubbing Demon King Daimo and not Maid-sama? What a world...
Oh well, at least I'll be able to own Maid-sama come June.

Pretty sad when a fansub group that claims it's a "speedsub" group gets beaten by an official release.
At least that's what will happen if they don't finish the last 4 episodes before June...

What is wierd about Maid-Sama is that it's comming out on BD as well in sub, does Sentia even have a relacement plan for BDs in case they choose to dub it latter on in the road?
But I agree, of all 3 shows I think Maid-Sama also desderved a dub as much as the other 2. But, I'm at least happy for the dub of 2 other shows.

Sentai does offer upgrade programs for bluray, however I think you misread the article. Maid-sama is coming out only on DVD.
I have to say I'm disappointed that Maid-sama isn't getting dubbed, but not too entirely surprised. The guys in Houston can do a fine job dubbing comedies. But I enjoyed it during it's run on TAN, so I will be grabbing it.
I figured Daimao was getting dubbed, so that was no shock. So I will definitely be going for the bluray set of that as well as HoTD.

WHOOP!!! I LOVED the Maid-Sama anime. I refuse to pay the prices TAN wants for their site. If I didn't already own most of the shows I'm interested in on that site, it'd be a sweet deal, but that's not the case. So I'm STOKED I can finally buy it on DVD! <3

Maid Sama!!!
This show can be LOL funny at times. Worth the buy even if sub only, though I think that's a shame. Dubbing Demon King Dummo and not Maid Sama? It really should be the other way around.

It makes me go "grr" that Maid-Sama is coming out June, since I'll already be reeling from A-Cen purchases and have manga purchases in June and July already nearing $50 (plus my brother's birthday gift...gah!). But I will eventually get this - I only watched the first two episodes, but like many series I can fall in love with a show and buy it from just that.

seriously. why bother dubbing something with pacing that was THAT much of a train wreck. I'm sure there's many better titles out there they haven't dubbed yet that are more deserving.

Because naked girls make more money than comedy. Commerce isn't about deserving or worthy. Masses are brainless boobie driven.

Why does the same conversation come up time after time? Waah, waah, Title A "deserves" a dub more than Title B. Still don't understand how the distrib game works, eh, geniuses?
Well, what can I tell you? Save your money and start your own anime distrib company so that you can make your awesome decisions so much better than these other fools, right? Because OF COURSE you have a better idea of what will sell in the marketplace than these people.

In all honesty I don't think Madi-Sama! deserves a dub. While I enjoyed it, it wasn't great and it's woefully unfinished. Hard to get excited over buying a show that can't be bothered to reveal it's biggest mystery and actually advance the plot. Give us a second season and a proper ending and we'll see about buying the first one.
