So Japanese cosplayers like their school girl uniforms huh? The funny thing is that most of those don't look too complicated, they look more like the outfits someone would sew/buy the separate pieces to make the whole outfit, not go out and commission it.

Looks like except for Index/Railgun and Eva, they're all winter school uniforms.

Interesting.

There's something wrong: the skirts are still not short enough (regardless of the seasons). Razz

Then again, half of those are bought by dudes, so maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Laughing

Yeah. Color me also disapointed that these are merely just uniforms, and rather boring ones at that. I know otaku are known for their schoolgirl complexes and uniform fetishes, but.. damn. Those are pretty plain for costumes.

Yeah, I can see that... creepy Otaku Male Collectors, or my other guess would be they're used in some porn shoot. Because, to be honest, I see those uniforms and I think -thank you internet- porn, not cosplay.

I don't know what uniforms are "normal" where you come from, but those are all distinctly recognisable uniforms - out of the six series that I have seen the only uniform that wasn't instantly recognisable was Fortune Arterial. "Plain" or not these are actual outfits from the shows in question and are designed to be realistic rather than fantastic.
