Netflix NEEDS,NEEDS,NEEDS to stream their anime with a sub title option. I have noticed that they are now giving the option of subs with foreign movies. Netflix, PLEASE DO THIS WITH ANIME!!

Now that's what I want to hear! More streaming stuff to watch. I'm not too concerned about the anime since, like mentioned, it's all pretty much dubbed, so I watch a lot of my anime on DVD or online, but still, I like watching other things outside of anime. Looking forward to even bigger options.

YES! More anime (and subbed anime) on streaming for Netflix! So much easier than mailing discs back and forth...

I don't get why anime fans are so hung up that the Netflix has dubbed anime for streaming. You guys have a TON of legal streamed anime subbed series in their entirety for free, most of the time, dubbed anime is not always uploaded to legal streaming sites in it's entirety so you guys usually don't have to pay to watch, while if users want to see anime dubbed, we get a few shows in their entirety and then we have to use Netflix because they stream the dubs in their entirety.

So happy to hear about more available titles from Netflix streaming. I HATE watching shows on my computer, but ever since I started watching Netflix on my Wii I can't get enough!

Not too surprising. I've sat on DVDs delivered for over a year. If they offered a streaming only package I'd sign up day one, assuming it wasn't something stupid like costing the same price as the DVD+Streaming or only being like a quarter less.

The selection in the streaming is really weird, but weird enough and large enough so that you can usually find something to watch. Plus, I think their recommendation system is top notch. I've rated a lot of films and now the system basically knows exactly what I like and when they recommend me something and guess what my score would be, it's usually spot on with what I rate it after watching it.

Generally I just rent the DVD watch it and put it in the mail the next day. I get to see more anime that way instead of spending 8 dollars to have some DVD and log jam the service for everyone else.

I didn't start off that way. For the first like 3 years of having the service I rented stuff all the time. Then I saw enough of their anime to where it was hard to find things I liked so I didn't care as much about renting things. Then they introduced the streaming and that was all I cared about.

Netflix has already started this. It's an $8/month service, but looks like it only give access to the Starz lineup rather than all of the Netflix streaming catalog at the moment.

Which is why, mglittlerobin, some subscribers want Netflix to make multiple audio and subtitle track available for streaming. As Netflix continues to phase out Anime DVDs (and presumably DVDs in general) in favor of streams, customers want to make sure they are provided the same level of service as with hybrid DVDs. I doubt many people want Netflix to provide only subbed anime -- they just want both options available, providing the equivalent of most physical rentals.

Doesn't really surprise me either, I'm piggy-backing off of someone else's Netflix so I can only watch streamed stuff and, since both of us watching tons of stuff all the time, I can see how the numbers really add up. And I'd also like to see more subbed stuff also available if just for having the option.
