YES! I feel like Koukou Debut would be terrible as an anime, but a live action film is perfect.

Actually, I wouldn't mind it getting an anime or at least a short OVA series. But I'm cool with a Live-Action film. I'd watch it.

You should read it then. Because that's exactly what it's not. HSD is by far, the most refreshing shojo manga I've read in a very, very long time.

High School Debut is awesome and underrated, so I'm glad it's getting some of the recognition it deserves. I'd kill for an anime though ;O; I'm stuck wondering who Yoh would be voiced by...

My question is, why isn't this an anime yet? I mean, it's perfect because the story's really good and there would be no filler. I just started it and I like it a lot.

last time i've read this series it's probably like nearly 2 years ago. i must agree with other people who says that this series is awesome. And it wasn't really surprising that not alot of people are really anticipated on this series which makes it sad. Come on, i mean they had to give a chance for this series even for once. All in all, im really happy that it finally got at least a Live action film. Finally after couple of years had passed

Love this manga, my daughter got me hooked on it I also was hoping for an OVA or short anime series but am thrilled at a live-action film. Looking forward to the casting, wonder who's free...

What's so refreshing about it? It relies on every single cliche ever and the story is sooo painfully predictable and all over the place.
If anything her latest work Aozora Yell is a big step up.
