Seriously...what? People are willing to go THIS far JUST because some changes were made from a manga to an anime? That's just overkill! I don't like ecchi anime in general, but people don't have to scare the studio and writers with threat letters and such!

Fixed. At first I thought "Oh there we go, some crazy parents threatening the company because they disliked the way they portrayed teenagers; stupid as always, but addicted to sex this time."

Really puts that whole South Park thing into perspective, doesn't it?

I can guess what change they are asking for xD Must be really frustrating to be a no-life otaku with no contacts to real people and then getting teased by your animes as well.

But aren't they a little late, since the series has already ended ....

I saw the whole series. I have to say this is kinda sad. If you have to threat a company because you don't like what you see then just don't watch it.

It was probably sent out while it aired, but jeez, talk about uncommon sense, like they can even do anything about it, or would just from threats Rolling Eyes

Oh well, perhaps at least one good thing that came out of this is making people aware of:
Quote:

The website notice points out that the anime's content and presentation are established by the production committee as a group, and are not the sole responsibility of the studio or the writers.

Does the original notice say it was because of the changes from the manga to the anime? The ANN article seems rather vague about the specific reasons. (Not that there are any good reasons to threaten someone over a piece of fiction, of course).

Because the original notice was rather vague.

I wonder how many people still remember who had woken John Ledford at 2 AM 11 years ago.

I hope the police can catch these stupid morons, what a thing to go to jail for. Stupid people. At least the studio's taking it seriously, they did the right thing contacting the police. This whole thing is still stupid though.

Okay, so people are assuming it must be those horrible otaku because they are the only ones who can possibly threaten someone over a show.

Same as always.

Some people in Japan are crazy. Honestly. Confused

I'm guessing it's yet another 40 year-old reclusive train groper.
