Personally, I think Index/Railgun, Kara no Kyoukai, Shana S2, and Canaan are loooooong overdue for a license...

I better see at least one of these. >_>

The only show I'm genuinely excited for right now (Drrr) is most likely getting released by a company I don't like. (Aniplex US)

*sigh* Sailor Moon 20th anniversary license would be nice, and I still kinda hope that a miracle will occur and we'll get Mahoraba, but other than that, I really don't care. I'm currently collecting everything else I'm interested in.

Maybe Yen Press will announce they have the Durarara novels or something. That'd be pretty sweet.

C'mooooooooon, Funi! Pull through a good one for us, yeah? *cough*CCS*cough*Paranoia Agent*cough*Haibane Renmei*cough*

Or Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai. Very Happy

And while I haven't given up hope for Dennou Coil, I still doubt I'll see it any time soon if ever. Sad

Have fun, everyone-who-is-there. The rest of us shall spend the weekend F5ing the news page, starving for announcements. (At least, I know I will!)

hmm.. could be about Geneon US rising from the dead?? Well, I guess they were never completely dead to begin with since all the licenses Funi is distributing still belongs to them, right? (Black Lagoon, Shana, etc)?

it might have seemed like it but if you really take a good look we were still only getting a handful of what came out in Japan back then. There's 150+, close to ~200 at shows at times coming out every year for almost a decade now, and we only get a tiny fraction of that. It feels like we're actually getting more now than the "golden era" and faster too, certainly at least by streaming if not actual disc releases.

No.

No no no no no. No. This panel is not about Geneon USA coming back. That will never happen.

This panel is akin to Aniplex USA's panels where they show trailers from properties they have on the air in Japan.

Wow, I did not even know that Anime Expo was ongoing until I saw the K-On! license announcement on the front page.

Personally, I hope to hear some sort of announcement about Bakemonogatari, Big Windup! (Season 2), Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, and/or Valkyria Chronicles. These are some of the big titles on my watch list.

I can only wait and see for a certain baseball anime to be licensed even if it's chance is slim to none.

Aniplex, FUNimation, and Viz Media. I'm looking forward to what they got to give us! (especially Viz! I'm really a Viz fanboy). Smile

I think Aniplex might actually announce a release date for Durarara!!

I think Angel Beats! has a better chance. Not a matter of quality though, just general audience reception.
