I think I see where this is going. I'm predicting a limited and/or special edition Blu-Ray for Japan and then a bare-bones U.S. release that will likely be released the following year. No doubt in response to the U.S. and Japan sharing the same region code for Blu-Rays.

That would be nice. The DVD of Princess Mononoke without the original Japanese audio is a bit underwhelming.

Well, now since theatrical anime in its years of release are on BluRay, maybe we'll see DYRL soon too.

Well, it is a monaural mix. Unless they don't go that extra mile I'm not expecting Home Theatre quality here.
