No FFXIII special release for the PS3 still. Aww man.

It's a fine addition to the series, so much so that I'd prefer a second Miles Edgeworth game to another title starring a goody-goody defense lawyer.

I dug the manga for Edgey more than Wright, too. But I'd still be up for more Apollo Justice, assuming it can stand on its own, of course.

Ah, I remember Project: Horned Owl. I had some good times with that game... well... good time, I should say. It wasn't really worth replaying. Shame it isn't worth more, too...

Actually we know a little bit more about Fullmetal Alchemist: To the Promised Day, it's going to follow the actual series plot where as most of the games have been side stories. The Promised Day is the last arc of Fullmetal Alchemist where Father tries to complete his plans while the heroes counterattack.

It will be interesting to see how they deal with that for example will we use Alphonse and Heinkel vs Kimblee and Pride. Hopefully someone starts bringing over the games, as I have been waiting for an RPG since the first anime came out.

the game begs for Edgeworth to face off against Phoenix Wright himself in court. Too bad CAPCOM wouldn't let that happen.

Mad

I was looking forward to trouncing Phoenix, but I guess it was not meant to be (sequel, please...). Oh well, at least the game still has the infinite, whiptastic hotness of Franziska von Karma.

I fail to see how that FFXIII bundle qualifies as a "special edition" to be honest. It's just a console with a packed in game, nothing special there. Guess whatever distracts from the comparison reports trickling out now showing how much worse the 360 version is over the PS3 version(So much for the only difference being the disc count).

Also, if you think that Dead Rising 2 downloadable episode won't appear on PS3 at some point, you clearly haven't kept up to date with how "exclusive" DLC on 360 tends to be. After Fallout 3 and GTA4, I see no reason the same thing won't happen here.

What's the most disappointing thing to involve manga author Magazine Shirow?

Never a dull moment when auto-correct is around. Wink

The FFXIII 360 is kinda tempting, too bad I've heard a few people say the game is a little boring.

While they could pop up through other venues before March 9th, for now the FFXIII faceplates look to have only been given to attendees of X10 (ie: invited media reps), which would fit with the whole super rare part.

There was a listing (sold now) on ebay that went for $200.

I'm not sure I'm as disappointed as you about the lack of any real "extras" for pre-ordering or whatever. I personally think things like that have gone from being nice bonuses to being considered "normal", as companies strive to do what they can to increase their bottom line. It's also nice to hear no DLC seems to be planned, as that's another area I greatly disagree with that I feel the game industry is heading.

I guess what I'm saying is it's almost sad how much of a breath of fresh air it is in today's gaming environment that you can, you know, just buy a solid (well, who knows, but here's hoping!) game without wading through the gabillion different pre-order bonuses created simply to drive business to one retailer over another and the angst of knowing they cut parts of the game to sell you later at $15 bucks a piece. But, to each their own I suppose.

I already got a free baby chocobo for some X-box FFXIII/Twitter promotion thing on Xbox. It was disappointing it wasn't anywhere near as cute at the chocobos in FFXI. In fact, it doesn't even really look like a chocobo. Wonder if it's the exact same pixelated pet, or if the chocobos they sell will be slightly different. But my avatar is happy at the pet, and willing to for the first time ever buy damn avatar clothes in the marketplace for FF clothes.

Damn stupid avatar marketing actually working on me for once. When I play 1 vs 100 now, I shall look like the videogame freak I am decked out in FF gear instead of looking like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys.

And yay for more Ace Attorney!

Glad to hear the Edgeworth game is good. Also, for those who haven't seen them already:

Re: "SONIC & SEGA ALL-STARS RACING": Which version of Wonder Boy ?

Edit: Hmm, the forum auto-alters the letters J-A-P to "Japanese", even in URLs, breaking one of my links above. Tried to use T-i-n-y-u-r-l to correct the problem, but it too is censored: [Please use direct URLs]/yjllh8e" target="_blank" class="postlink -wrap" rel="nofollow ugc">http://preview.">[Please use direct URLs]/yjllh8e

Oh well.

my guess is Sony's completely given up on Final Fantasy XIII. not only did they already retain most of the sales, but there's this little known game coming out the week after called God of War 3. watching the run-throughs of this game have pretty much killed my interest. while the cut-scenes are amazing, this gameplay is severely lacking.

I fear that Last Rebellion will be buried by other RPGs this season (including NIS America's own release of Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love), but at the very least, it's the rare NIS game where the characters have conventionally sized eyes.

What does eye size have to do with anything?

Sega All Stars Racing: Only good reason to play is to kill Sonic and his friends with the other Sega characters. Everyone wins when Sonic and his forest friends die! Because nothing of value is ever lost when you kill him! Yeah you can tell I hate his franchise.

Horned Owl: I'm curious, why does there seem to be so much Shirow hate? Was he really that bad at making anime back in the day?

Then again, everything in Dead Rising 2 may well be overshadowed by the fact that Chuck can make a double-bladed polearm out of a canoe paddle and two chainsaws.

I'm not sure if I trust duct tape enough to make one of those... but awesome is still awesome.

Haha, Mr. Bones. If he were DLC, I'd be all over that.
