Yeah, anyone know which episodes are on the DVD?

Personally, I'd buy the first episodes of the arc and the last episodes, about 4 episodes total, and just ignore everything in the middle. It really ought to have been only 3 or 4 to begin with.

Exactly^^

What is going to be more telling are the sales figures for the next few volumes. If I really cared I would probably pick up the first and last DVD of the arc and skip the middle ones.

Yeah, you can thank those "sheep" for supporting an excellent series and ultimately funding Disappearance...

neocloud9, it's called fan loyalty. Even if Kyo Kara Maoh doesn't hold a candle in anime popularity to shows like DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, Gundam, Eva, FMA, etc., it still has it's own level of dedicated fans.

That 14K is down from the 21K of the previous MOHS 2 volume, so it does not bode well for the remaining Endless volumes. Will be interesting to see if that holds up or drops for the two middle volumes.

I would buy them on R1 at reasonable prices, just in hopes of funding further animation, but I doubt that will happen now based on these numbers. Wrong time to be making such dumb mistakes, and I do wonder if some heads will roll. They've wasted a great franchise.

A lot of us are expecting a BD box for Haruhi anyway, so buying Endless Eight DVD singles at this point feels a little silly.

...but by buying all the Endless Eight episodes, you send the message that you'll buy anything, and give anime companies an excuse to pull this kind of stunt again, leading to the next anime series wasting our time again and not getting to the good stuff. As for "funding" it, if studios have enough money to waste on eight episodes of almost the exact same story but with completely new animation for each... grr........Evil or Very Mad

Have standards. Let your money tell the studios what you want. It's no different from the way I skipped buying the four-in-a-row recap episodes of Wolf's Rain. Buy the rest of the series, but give them nothing for giving us "Endless Eight."

But the problem is, won't there be non-EE episodes on EE-heavy discs, too? How is a fan supposed to get the other episodes of the second season they like and still send the message they won't stand for stunts like EE?
