Sounds like a rubbish concept tbh.
Guess Stan Lee thinks he'll get an instant hit if mecha is included...

Yeah, the concept sounds rather run-of-the-mill, to say the least.

But it's BONES. They could probably adapt Eragon and Twilight and still make it good............okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. Wink

By the way, has anyone here ever read Ultimo? I read the first 3 chapters in the U.S. version of Shonen Jump and it was pretty good so far.

Does this mean Ultimo's making money in Japan?

Well, sounds just about as good as the American direct to video animations that he did a few years ago... which is.. not that good. I rather wish Lee would rest on his laurels instead of making sub par stuff now. Yet I can't blame the guy for still trying to find work and make a living. Eh. Good for him.

I'd like to have some hope that this could be potentially interesting, but after reading a bit of Ultimo a while back, i have no confidence that this is going to be good.

I think it's time to let your reputation live in the past, Lee.

I loved the art for Ultimo, and was really excited to read it, but I only made it through the first chapter. Then I decided that my time was better-spent elsewhere. I'm kind of getting the impression that Heroman will be the same way.
